My summer Instagram diary!

I haven't done a lot of things this summer but I have instagramed the things that I have actually done with my friends.

Bottom right: This is my #throwbackthursday! It's the last day of school when I was in year nine, we had a photo with our form tutour, yes this is the one I have talked about in one of my earlier blogs, the one who loved us but the love wasn't shared. But she's great now!

Bottom middle: My friends and I are not good at last minute plans but for once, we made plans about an hour or two before we went, we managed to get 5/7 to go which wasn't bad considering we are all really unorganised when it comes to planning things. We went to the beach, it was so windy. Most of the time we spent there was sitting by a cafe because it was less windy.

Bottom left: This one was also the same day at the same place, I like this photo. We all had to lay down so that the wind didn't ruin the picture and our hair wasn't going in our faces.

Middle right: Like I said, I didn't do a lot over the summer so again this is from the day at the beach, this is one of my favourite pictures. It didn't happen willingly. I wanted to go in the water, this was about half eight at night so my friends thought the water would be freezing. I begged them to go in but none of them were having any of it, except Ellie, once I called her something similar to a chicken, she came in with me. To our surprise, the water was warmer that the wind. In this picture it sort of looks like we've just accomplished an adventure or something. I love it.

Middle middle: This was taken on results day. Again we went to the beach, this time we had 6/7 girls, I enjoyed this day so much more than I thought I was. When I got my results I thought nothing could have cheered me up that day but they managed to. The 'lucky 7' is what I like to think my friendship group is. I always feel like I'm lucky to have them.

Middle left: This picture was actually taken before the two beach trips, I just forgot to put it up. Four of us went to the cinema to watch the inbetweeners. I was joined in the back seat by Rhian.

Top right: Last week a group from my form in school went to a themepark, Emma and I decided to go on the bobsled together, not knowing we were going to fall off, it was going so well until we got to the last corner. She is my bobsled queen.

Top middle: This is also from the themepark, we made it our mission to take a group selfie before every ride, this was my favourite.

Top left: This is also a throwback Thursday post. This was our school trip to Cardiff, on the bus to our evening meal woth Kathy R.

Baby Pageants

I really don't like the idea of baby pageants, I really don't!
The idea of dressing my baby up in next to nothing and plastering shovels of makeup on them at such a young age is not my idea of fun. I'm 17 so I am way to young to even be thinking about having children but this is something I feel so strongly about.
I mean babies don't get a say in what they do when they can't talk or even understand what's going on, I really don't think it's fair on this child to have their parents make a complete mug out of them by making them look like some sort of cartoon character.

I have so much sympathy for these children, they probably just want to roll around on the floor and play with their toys, if not that then they probably just want to sleep or cuddle with their parents. I don't think a baby's idea of fun is getting people to vote for them in some sort of competition for the cutest baby.
When they grow older and learn that they came next to last in a competition to see who the cutest baby is, how embarrassing is that going to be.
This is only coming to me now because I was scrolling down my Facebook news feed and saw that one of my relatives had put her child in one of these competitions and I just thought to myself, what the hell are you doing.
These people must be so desperate for money I just think it's ridiculous.

Piercings

I don't know what it is about piercings but I really like them. So many people, especially the older generations really hate piercings, both the look of them and the idea of having a hole somewhere in your body. Although I am a fan, I only have three and that's in my ears. There are some places on the body where having a piercing would really repulse me. I can deal with face ones but those lower down the body really aren't my idea of 'fashionable'.

My mum is not a big fan of my siblings and I having piercings, she is really against it and me being under 18 means I have to have permission from her in order to get new piercings. The only ones she knew I had were the usual ear lobes and she took me to have them done when I was around the age of 8. I also have another toward the top of my ear, this one I didn't get permission for, in fact I managed to hide from my mum for about a year, I would wear my hair down at first because I couldn't take it out but when it got to the stage where I could take it out and change it, I would take it out when I got home and the put it back in when I went out. She eventually found out accidentally.

I do understand why some people don't like piercings but personally I love them, I just think they look good on most people. I even like some spacers, but only a certain style and as long as they are on the ears, the spacers on the mouth really do creep me out, they do not look good, but any others look nice in my eyes.

For some piercings, you have to have the face for, or a certain look about you. If you are one of those girls who are often described as 'girly-girls' I don't think eyebrow piercings and spacers are for you, it just wouldn't suit you.

If I had a favorite type of piercings it would be either nose hoops or snake bites, I really like the look of them I just think they look amazing.

(In no way is this post encouraging you to get a new piercing, but if you want to then go for it)

10 Things That Annoy Me The Most About People

So if you know me, you will know that I am one of those people who can get annoyed at the slightest things and the main causes of me becoming angry are people. People can be the loveliest things but then some of them have annoying little traits about them and if I'm honest it only takes a slight thing that they do to completely infuriate me.

1.The first one is those who are described as 'two faced'. This is one of my biggest hates in people, obviously not everyone is two faced but you do get those sneaky ones. To your face they will be the loveliest of people and then as soon as your back is turned JAB JAB JAB they are stabbing you in that back of yours and being biggest two faced bitch in bitchville.

2.Number two is 'Snobs'. Those people who may of may not have more money in their family than yours who instantly think that they are above you. It's not always money, some just think they are above you because they may be prettier or better looking than you when sometimes that isn't that case. I know of many people who have no reason to be stuck up and think they are above you, they just do, I could not explain why but it happens and I hate it.

3.The third is 'Sheep' and no I don't mean the animal, when someone is described as a sheep, it means that the follow everyone else, they don't make their own decisions and they sit on the fence and let others argue about a subject of which they actually feel strongly about. I mean why can't they just speak up, I understand people are shy and I'm not saying shy people are sheep, I'm saying that if someone can't make their own decisions and fight their own battles now, where are they going to end up later on?

4.Kids in school is another one, I did write a whole post on this and how they irritate me but I still think these are one of the main reason I get annoyed at people. I mean the kids in school are so unpleasant to listen to, observe and some maybe to look at.

5.Number five has to be when people feel the need to put you down, to criticize what you plan to do, wear or even think. Say you are ambitious about something and this ambition doesn't include the norm, people will instantly put you down and tell you it is a stupid idea and that you really shouldn't do it. They try to friggin crush you.

6.The next one is the one that I witness on a daily basis and that is annoying eating noises, from slurps to crunches, there is literally nothing that annoys me more than the noises people make when they eat. Not all people do make loud noises but there are quite a few people in my life where I couldn't sit around a table and eat with them, it's so annoying, no one wants to hear those sounds, like ever.

7.Shadows are another thing, not just the things that follow you because of the sun but those people who you can class as shadows, someone who constantly follows another person. I hate this because I just find this so irritating! I know so many shadows, why can't you just live your own life without having to follow someone Else's, I mean leave, just leave. They really don't understand how irritating it is.

8.Number eight, those who spoil the ending to either a book or film. They get a laugh out of ruining it. Just because you've read it, that doesn't mean you should ruin it for others. It sort of feels like a waste of time if you've read through half and then you get it ruined. That's annoying.

9.The next one isn't one I see happen a lot but never the less, it's stupid. So you're in a shop, it might be busy it might not, someone pushes into you and they don't apologize, I mean what decent person wouldn't say sorry? I say sorry whether it's my fault or not, it's the nicest thing to do. Do it.

10.The last one, I see quite a lot of these and they are boys or girls who go through girlfriends/boyfriends like there's no tomorrow. And those who are always messaging more than one person at once, they obviously don't like one person enough, they just want a partner, most of them don't even know the person they are trying to chat up, they just like the way they look. Come on, just stop! Everyone knows what you're doing.

I spend my summer on games.

It's August which means that school is out and all kids get to go out, have fun and do whatever they want. Me being the most unsociable person, I decide to not do anything and to stay indoors, or my garden at a push with my eyes glued to either my phone, IPad or laptop. Yes, I'm one of those.
So when I concentrate on nothing other than the technology I own, I either watch a whole series of something a day or I kill time by playing on games. So I thought I would share with you the top 5 games that I'll probably spend the rest of my summer playing.

1. Make Them Jump. This is basically a game where you have to jump over things, it sounds easy enough but you are actually controlling the movement of two people. Yes I said it, two. When you first look at it, it seems so easy. Let me tell you it's not. I mean try playing flappy bird and then adding mines and knives coming at you. That's how difficult it is. My highest score is 21. But I do recommend that you give this game a try, especially if you are wanting to pass sometimes. But if you happen to be an angry person with no patience then don't, seriously don't. You will smash the screen of whatever you're using. Trust me, I almost did.

2. 100 Balls, and no it's not a sexual game as most people ask when I'm explaining the game to them. Basically, you have around 8 cups and 100 balls, you then have to get these inside the cups while the cups are moving, yes this sounds like the most boring game in history but i actually spent a whole day playing that thinking I was only playing for like an hour. I love this game.

3. Fare City. This is a taxi game, I have an obsession with games where you have drive. This isn't one of them but before I downloaded it I thought it was, when I later learned that it wasn't a game that would cause me road rage I thought I would be really disappointed but I wasn't. However, again if you have no patience then don't download it. I mean I'm quite an angry person but I can just about cope with it, almost throwing it across the room, but coping.

4. Crazy Taxi. Now this one is a driving game, I only downloaded it today but I already like it, it's a game that is me. You get to crash into random cars and destroy them with tanks, who doesn't want that?

5. Sims Freeplay. I know, judge me. I play sims because I have no life of my own so I control someone elses, who happens to be virtual. It sounds really creepy but it makes me feel so powerful, this persons life is in my control and it's not real so I can do whatever the hell I want with it. It's brill!

Family On Facebook

I have had Facebook since I was about 13, yes I know you're not allowed it until you're 16 but everyone was doing it. Everyone in school had Facebook, if you didn't have it, you weren't with everyone. So when I got Facebook, my mum didn't know what it was. I think I was actually the first to get it.
Once the older generation started getting it, my mum obviously heard about it through the grapevine, all of her friends were getting it and my mum being my mum just had to get it. A few days later I received a friend request from my mother, my first thought... Oh dear.
Time went on, I was in my teen phase and in this phase there were bitchy girls, girls who enjoyed an argument but were to afraid to be confrontational in person. They would abuse the ability to start stupid arguments with girls they may have been scared of. I unfortunately got involved with the wrong people, they weren't my real friends, they were the friends I had outside of school. My mum really didn't like them and once they had turned on me and started this online abuse, my mum made me delete my account, to protect me of course.
A few months passed and I decided I wanted to go back to Facebook, I missed talking to my friends. My mum didn't agree that it was a good idea and therefore told me i couldn't go back on Facebook. But I didn't listen, I logged back into my deactivated account and removed my mum as a friend so she wouldn't find out. I got away with it for a few months until my brother decided to grass me up, because he does that. I was stupid to think that he wouldn't. My mum didn't care anymore so I added her as a friend again.
This brings me to now. I hardly use Facebook anymore, I'm more of a Twitter fan. Simply because I am sick of scrolling down my news feed and seeing all of my family's personal business on my mums status update. Everything that goes on in my family ends up on my mums profile, whether it's something funny or a family argument, she always has something to say about it and that is so annoying. Every time I see it i think, why is this every person on Facebook's business? You don't even know all of these people on a personal level, I don't understand why they need to know what you're putting on this.
I'm not sure about you but I don't feel like every part of my life needs to be shared with everyone on Facebook, those you are friends with but aren't actually friends with. I think the main reason I use Twitter so much is because my family are on Facebook.
